> The School of Library, Archival and Information Studies (SLAIS) at the University of British Columbia invites applications for a full-time position to begin July 1, 2011, subject to final budgetary approval. The position is expected to be filled at the rank of tenure-track Assistant Professor, although outstanding candidates may be considered for appointment at a higher rank.  Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Candidates should demonstrate achievement of, or potential for, excellence in teaching, research, and service in an interdisciplinary environment.
