Assistant Professor, Digital Media Production.  Teach introductory and upper-division courses in the areas of audio, video, and web production. Teach courses in the School of Communication and University core as needed. Contribute to curriculum development emphasizing cross-discipline integration of new media technologies in the School of Communication. Ph.D. or A.B.D with experience as a paid, full-time employee in media production, or M.A., M.S. or M.F.A. with significant experience as a paid, full-time employee in media production is preferred. Teaching experience preferred. Preference will be given to individuals who can conduct research or perform significant creative activity and demonstrate a commitment to students and quality teaching. Because of the unique nature of its mission, the School of Communication is comprised of faculty members with terminal degrees as well as those with significant professional experience.  Therefore, the School of Communication has established two tracks depending upon academic or professional qualifications, each of which can lead to tenure and full professorship.
