Assistant/Associate Professor School of Public Policy
The George Mason University, School of Public Policy (SPP) invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant or Associate Professor position in organization development and knowledge management (ODKM) beginning in fall 2011. The position will suit scholars with an interdisciplinary orientation who favor interpretive and social constructionist approaches to organization studies.
We are looking for evidence of good research and publications in one or more of the following or allied fields: organizational theory, organization development, knowledge management, collaborative technologies, organization behavior and interpretive methodologies. Demonstrable knowledge of, interest in, and experience with tools that support virtual collaboration or knowledge sharing is
highly desirable.
The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in a one or more of these fields, or a cognate discipline. Applicants should have teaching experience in areas such as organization learning, knowledge management, collaborative technologies, communities of practice, organizational change, and have an interest in experiential learning.
