San Francisco State University (SF State) Department of Instructional Technologies (ITEC), within the College of Education, invites applications and nominations for an Assistant Professor, Emerging Technologies in Instruction position. The Department seeks qualified applicants interested in becoming part of a large urban university, one of 23 campuses in the California State University system. This is a full-time, 9-month appointment. Duties include teaching graduate level courses in the Instructional Technologies program, such as: Emerging Technologies in Instruction, Technology Integration in Education, Instructional Systems Design, Learning Theory and other current instructional media/technologies. The position will also work closely with faculty in other disciplines to develop transdisciplinary projects focused on using emerging technologies to meet the learning needs of people in diverse organizations.
