Assistant Professor, beginning Fall 2011.  Anticipated tenure-track position in Communication Studies.  Requires teaching Communication Theory and Methods; specialization in Media Studies desirable.  Position also requires an interest in helping to build a new Communication Studies Major, a commitment to general education and the liberal arts, and dedication to engaging students as individuals.  Ph.D. and record of excellent teaching required.  Teaching assignment is three courses per semester and one May-term every third year.  Active research and publication required, as well as service to department and college, including student advising.  Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
