The Department of Management, University of Toronto Mississauga (UTM)
invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Innovation
Strategy at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning July 1, 2010.
Qualified candidates must have a PhD in the management of innovation
or be in the final stages of their dissertation and demonstrate
interest in and capacity to conduct high quality scholarly research
and teaching. They must have familiarity with the economics of
innovation and industrial economics.
The successful applicant will be appointed as faculty member at UTM
and cross-appointed to the Joseph L. Rotman School of Management and
be could be eligible for a cross-appointment with the Department of
Health, Policy, Management and Evaluation of the Faculty of Medicine.
S/he will be part of a strong culture of research, doctoral training,
graduate and undergraduate management education with the following
programs: PhD; Master of Management of Innovation (MMI); Master of
Management & Professional Accounting (MMPA); MBA; Diploma in
Investigative & Forensic Accounting (DIFA); B. Com., BBA and HBA
(Management). Salary to be commensurate with qualifications and
experience.
