The Department of Communication Studies has a tenure-track faculty  
positions at the rank of assistant or associate professor. Applicants  
should have completed a Ph.D. degree in the field of communication  
study or a closely related field with a proven working knowledge of  
new digital media and web-based technologies. The candidate should  
also have substantial teaching and mentoring experience. Media  
management or production experience will also be considered as a  
strong advantage. Candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability  
to direct master degree theses and portfolios, conduct original  
research leading to publication, and serve on doctoral dissertation  
committees. Candidates with expertise in the digital media technology  
are particularly sought. Salary is competitive and commensurate with  
academic and professional experience.
