Position Description and Duties

Teach, develop and coordinate courses in academic computer literacy;  
develop and administer a technological competency program and  
placement tests; teach foundations courses in multimedia/ 
communication technology; and serve on committees, pursue  
scholarship, grants, and fulfill other activities appropriate to rank.

Qualification Requirements

Doctorate in field related to computer science, communications  
technology or instructional technology required.  College teaching  
experience, understanding of issues in academic computer literacy and  
strategies to achieve technological literacy of all students,  
expertise with multimedia technology, demonstrated research  
accomplishments, and a track record of external funding preferred.
