Tenure-Track Faculty Positions

We invite applications for two tenure-track positions commencing  
August 1, 2008. Successful candidates will join colleagues in the  
Department - a varied, interdisciplinary and expanding unit - to  
contribute to the development of the Department's new strategic path  
within the Faculty of Communication & Design and the University.

Specifically at this time, we seek candidates holding a PhD in  
Communication or in a field relevant to the teaching of communication  
issues in science, technology, engineering and business. They will  
develop curriculum in this burgeoning area, and have experience  
teaching large classes. Candidates will be energetic, enterprising  
individuals who will actively participate in the academic life of the  
Department and the University, and will teach and supervise students  
in the Department's proposed master's program in addition to  
undergraduate courses. They will be capable of, and interested in,  
developing a program of research based on incoming expertise and  
scholarship.
