Research: Research Fellow. The Education Alliance, a leading,

nominations and applications for a Research Fellow. The Education

development, long-range planning, strategic alliances, new academic

colleges, community and technical colleges, proprietary institutions,  
public higher education systems and international education

www.edalliance.com. Qualifications: The successful candidate for this  
position will have a graduate degree or be currently enrolled in a  
graduate program preferably in higher education. The position  
requires prior related research and writing experience with a general  
understanding of higher education issues, market trends and policy  
implications. This position requires strong Internet research skills,  
familiarity with higher education databases, critical thinking,  
problem-solving, and proficiency in professional and interpersonal  
communications. The successful candidate will have had previous  
experience designing quantitative and qualitative instruments and  
will be responsible for analyzing data and preparing interpretive  
reports with findings and recommendations for Alliance clients and  
Alliance executives and senior consultants. As a major component of  
assigned work, the Fellow must be willing and able to perform the  
following administrative support responsibilities: process Word,  
Excel, and PowerPoint documents; transcribe dictation; attend social  
events and professional development opportunities; prepare  
promotional literature; perform other office tasks as assigned. This  
full or part-time position will work under the direct supervision of  
the Alliance Senior Vice President. The Alliance seeks a graduate  
student or a recent graduate from a master's or doctoral program able  
to demonstrate: a familiarity with higher education issues;  
quantitative research skills; a commitment to learning new skills; a  
strong work ethic; a willingness to take risks; think creatively; the  
ability to self-start; a high standard of professional ethics and  
integrity. This position requires a passion for higher education  
consulting which is a time intensive enterprise, requiring concerted  
attention and devotion to thoroughness, detail, research and client  
service. Compensation for the fellowship will be competitive.
