Open and Multiple Ranks
International Public Policy. The Gerald R. Ford School of Public
Policy at the University of Michigan invites applications from well-
qualified individuals for a tenured or tenure-track position in
international public policy. This position is open with respect to
rank. Successful candidates must demonstrate outstanding research
potential/ accomplishment (appropriate for rank of the appointment);
willingness to teach core and applied undergraduate, Masters and
Ph.D. level courses in an interdisciplinary public policy program;
ability to mentor Masters and Ph.D. students; and interest in
interacting with students, faculty, and policy practitioners in an
interdisciplinary professional school environment. The position is
also open with respect to disciplinary background and sub-field,
though we especially welcome applications from candidates whose
research and teaching interests focus on international security,
international organizations, foreign-policy decision making, strategy/
negotiation, ethnic conflict, terrorism, sub-national conflict, or
international political economy. Applications received by September
28, 2007 will be given first consideration, although we will continue
