The Princeton University Society of Fellows in the Liberal Arts
invites applications for three-year postdoctoral fellowships
2008-2011 for recent PhDs (from Jan. 2005) in humanities or social
sciences. Stipend: approx. $66,500. Application deadline: October 8,
2007. Five appointments to pursue research and teach half-time:
• two Open Fellowships: all disciplines represented in the Society of
Fellows.
• Fellowship in Judaic Studies: pursue research and teach half-time.
The fellow will offer courses that complement topics and areas
covered by current faculty in the program.
• Fellowship in LGBT Studies: teach half-time and pursue research
that will make a positive contribution toward public discourse around
contemporary LGBT issues.
• Fellowship in Study of Race and/or Ethnicity: teach half-time and
pursue research that will make a significant contribution to the
study of race and/or ethnicity in one or more selected disciplines in
the humanities and social sciences. Contribute to public discourse on
issues of race and/or ethnicity.
