Library Science and Instructional Technology
Kutztown University enrolls approximately 10,000 students in graduate
and undergraduate programs. The University is located adjacent to the
borough of Kutztown in a charming rural setting and is within 30
minutes driving time of the diverse metropolitan areas Allentown/
Bethlehem and Reading, and within 60 minutes of the Philadelphia
metropolitan area. The University is very interested in hiring
employees who have had extensive experience with diverse populations.
The Department of Library Science and Instructional Technology
invites applications for two full-time, tenure track, faculty
positions to teach undergraduate and graduate instructional
technology courses, beginning Fall 2007. Minimum qualifications
include a doctorate degree (ABD will be considered) in Instructional
technology or a related field (MLS would be considered an added
value) and a minimum of three years of successful teaching experience
in U.S. elementary, middle, or secondary classrooms (K-12).
Successful interview and demonstration of classroom teaching ability
are required. Applicants should submit a letter of application, vita,
official undergraduate and graduate transcripts, and three reference
letters to Lynn Milet, Ed.D., Search Chair, Department of Library
Science and Instructional Technology, Rohrbach Library, Kutztown
University, Kutztown, PA 19530. Review of applications will begin
March 1.
