Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) is searching for  
highly motivated and accomplished internet superstars for critical  
leadership positions in its newly-created Online Services Division.
You will work with this entrepreneurial and inspirational team to  
direct the efforts of Planned Parenthood's national office, 116  
affiliates, and 860 health centers. Join us in our work to provide  
online health information, services, and opportunities around  
advocacy, fundraising, volunteering, and working with Planned  
Parenthood - while we work to develop the largest and most effective  
online effort in the nonprofit community.
The Online Services Senior Director will oversee the daily operations  
of all activities within Online Services, interact with all other  
departments within PPFA and our affiliates, and manage our progress.  
We need an inspiring leader who wants to make a difference by  
ensuring that our Internet presence and programs are effective,  
efficient, innovative, and in line with organizational messaging and  
goals. Ideal candidates will have experience with interactive  
products and services, knowledge of public health or reproductive  
health policy, managing and motivating staff, and balancing  
priorities. The Senior Director reports to the VP for Online  
Services, and manages Online Services directors, and negotiates and  
manages all technology contracts and vendor relationships.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Responsible for internal operations oversight and management of the  
Online Services department
·Assist the Vice President of Online Services with strategy and  
staffing decisions
·Prioritize and balances work spanning each of Online Services' main  
initiatives
·Oversee joint initiatives (work that is shared by each department)  
such as Search Engine Optimization (SEO), usability, large donor  
fundraising, foundation relations and coordinating messaging with  
Online Services and local offices
·Work with VP on budgets and financial tracking
·Negotiate, manage and oversee all technology contracts and  
technology vendor relationships
·Manage necessary processes for choosing and implementing new  
technology to support PPOL initiatives
·Manage and ensure effectiveness of other PPFA resources dedicated to  
this department
·Ensures all content, features and information delivery of the Online  
Services initiatives programs is achieving the strategic goals of the  
department
·Assist with fundraising to ensure funding for current and future  
initiatives
·Develop internal systems to improve program operations and receive,  
respond and resolve problems
·Assist VP with Online Services program strategic planning process
·Prepare reports, records, and related program documents as required
·Develop and manage program evaluation, tracking, and reporting  
systems to measure effectiveness of department against departmental  
goals
·Initiate and oversee program expansion, establish and build networks/ 
maintain relationships with affiliates and clinics
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 7-10 years' related experience supervising operations,  
programs and staff, and providing advisement services or an  
equivalent combination as a senior manager.
Related Skills or Knowledge:
·Self-starter, takes initiative and strong problem solving skills
·Must be able to support multiple staff at once and keep track of  
projects relating to each one
·Excellent staff management and morale building skills
·Ability to "manage up" and interface with senior stakeholders
·Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem solving skills
·Ability to think strategically and develop programs
·Understands the potential of the Internet and is knowledgeable of  
current industry trends
·Commitment to quality, results, and superior performance
·High level of organization and attention to details
·Ability to mange staff and serve others as an integral member of a  
fast paced growing team
·Ability to anticipate challenges, manage stressful situations in a  
fluid environment, and quickly implement course corrections when  
necessary

cultural differences essential.
