Albertus Magnus College invites applications for an Assistant or
Associate Professor in Humanities. The College, which has served the
needs of students for nearly eighty years, seeks to provide an
education that is scholarly, humanistically enlarging, and practical
in its application.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a strong liberal
arts orientation appropriate to teaching interdisciplinary first year
and senior seminars in the College's General Education Program, as
well as a demonstrated interest in teaching a variety of
interdisciplinary courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels to
a diverse student body. The ability to teach cross-cultural courses
is an advantage. The candidate should be conversant in the Catholic
intellectual tradition, possess an appropriate terminal degree, and
possess expertise in the effective use of technology to support
pedagogy.
Compensation and rank will be related to specific individual
qualifications and experience. Qualified candidates should submit a
cover letter that includes the applicant's philosophy of teaching and
curriculum vitae, including three references. Additional supporting
