Assistant Professor, Department of Management

Located in Virginia's beautiful Shenandoah Valley, JMU is a highly  
selective, diversified, regional, comprehensive, student-oriented  
institution with approximately 15,000 undergraduate and 1,000  
graduate students and over 750 full-time faculty. It has strong  
liberal arts and professional programs at the undergraduate and  
graduate level in a variety of disciplines. The university is  
committed to innovation, superlative teaching and scholarship. JMU

programs and has been repeatedly identified as a best buy for  
students. The 118 full-time faculty members of the College of  
Business offer bachelor's and master's degrees and graduate  
approximately 700 undergraduate and 100 graduate students each year.

The Management Department invites applications for a tenure-track  
Assistant Professor position. Ph.D. in strategic management or  
related field required (AACSB-accredited program preferred). Primary  
teaching area is strategic management with secondary area in one of  
the following fields: a) management of technology and innovation, b)  
international management, or c) entrepreneurship. Successful  
candidate will also provide evidence of strong research potential.
