We seek a scholar whose scope of interest in communication bridges
the various areas of the curriculum in both the undergraduate and
graduate programs through inquiry into the central problematics that
animate the study of communication. We encourage applications from
scholars from a wide variety of perspectives whose research
interrogates the core claims and disputes in the field.

2) Global Networks and Media Systems.
We seek applications from scholars with a research program oriented
toward issues linked to the expansion and proliferation of global
information and communication systems and technologies. We are
particularly interested in scholars whose research addresses areas
such as new media and development; trans-national spaces; social
advocacy and global networks; global circulation of cultural
commodities; historical contexts for globalisation; or non-western
media systems.
