The Department of Popular Culture at Bowling Green State University  
announces a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start August  
2007. We seek to hire a candidate with an earned Ph.D. in a relevant  
discipline, specializing in theory and methodology for examining  
contemporary popular culture in an international, transnational, or  
global context. The candidate should demonstrate expertise in the  
popular culture of at least one geographic area other than the United
