Job Description: Teaching a variety of Electronic Media courses;  
providing leadership in curricula development and program marketing.  
Providing leadership as part of the Electronic Media Program faculty  
and staff and contributing to all aspects of the program, including  
but not limited to academic leadership, teaching, marketing,  
recruitment and advising of students, selection and supervision of  
department personnel, mentoring, program curriculum and instruction,  
advisory committee activities, and job placement of graduates, grant  
administration; a willingness to engage in applied research,  
purchasing and implementing of new technologies, and student team  
project supervision of single and multi-camera productions, (studio,  
documentaries, sports, etc.) Commitment to working in a multicultural  
environment that fosters diversity.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Electronic Media, Media  
Production, Broadcast Management or related field and practical work  
experience in the electronic media industry.

Excellent knowledge and experience with Electronic Media technologies  
of video production, audio production, and multimedia, and broad  
awareness of the emerging technologies specific to electronic media.

Evidence of practical application and experience in the field and the  
ability to apply those skills directly to students and staff.  
Leadership skills to develop a vision of the program for the future  
and to lead an award winning faculty, staff, and students of Ohio  
University Southern's Electronic Media Program.

Five years experience teaching at College level.
