Job Description: The Florida State University College of Information  
( www.ci.fsu.edu ) invites applications for five tenure track  
assistant professor positions. Applicants must have a doctoral degree  
in a relevant discipline, a demonstrated record or potential for  
achievement in academic research, teaching, and service, and must  
meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of assistant  
professor.

Successful applicants will demonstrate research and teaching  
interests focused on one of the following areas: information  
architecture, information technology or digital libraries. Ability to  
teach online classes is desirable. Faculty members are expected to  
serve on University and College committees and teams, and to advise  
students.

Starting salary is competitive based on the candidates experience and  
skills.
