Specializing in distance and on-line education, Athabasca University  
delivers university education to approximately 30,000 students per  
year. Athabasca University is dedicated to the removal of barriers

worldwide. Athabasca University invites applications for the position  
located in : Assistant Professor, Political Economy and Global  
Studies, Centre for Global and Social Analysis. The Assistant  
Professor will direct the existing Political Economy program and  
develop the Global Studies program at Athabasca University. The  
successful candidate will have a Ph.D. with a specilization in  
Political Economy, broadly defined, as well as interdisciplinary  
knowledge of Global Studies. Experience in adult, distance, and on- 
line learning are assets. Candidates should address their teaching  
experience and provide evidence of their potential for developing an
